We had a big family farewell party for Dave, however, we decided to go over right before he left to say goodbye. The kids drew a picture for him and wanted to give it to him before he left for Afghanistan. Dave is really excited to go, and we are scared for him to go. He is in the special forces and so he goes into an operation before anyone to make sure the place is safe. The way he sees it is he is ready to use all of the training he has. I can see his point but we would rather him be here. And so would his new bride. We Love you Uncle Dave. Have FUN and Be SAFE!! See you next July.

The first video is Spencer's first time eating cereal, did not seem to like it so much, I think it was a little thick, he likes it runny so he can drink it off the spoon. Kipling had Pneumonia for the forth time since he's been born. Poor kid this time was really bad. his oxygen level was really low he looked like he was a ghost. I took him to the doctor and they put him on nasty medicine as well as this wonderful Nebulizer. Kipling hated to do his breathing treatments he fought me every time. So, I had to take a picture of him taking one of his breathing treatments, calmly with Daddy.

Kipling really enjoyed his first Primary Activity. One of the older boys Jonathan DaCamera took Kipling under his wing and helped him through every station. Every station they raced against a different team. The first was to pack up a family for a move, the second was to race and take food over to someones house in need, the third was a relay race-not sure the motive, and the fourth they wrote letters or drew a picture for the missionaries. Then they ended with a message and cupcakes. Kipling had a lot of fun.

Before they can go into the class room they have to find their name and put the name strip into the basket. Kipling did really well his first day of school. He walked right in and started playing with the toys, and made instant friends. Sada wanted to stay, she did not want to leave she thought she was supposed to go to school as well.

We decided to put Kip in Preschool this year. I had been looking all over. I did not want to travel to far. My friend Nikki went to check it out brought me back the info, and I knew this was the place. I have heard nothing but good things about Christ Community Preschool. So, Sept. 8 we went and met Kipling's teachers, Ms. Melody and Ms. Dana. He has nine kids in his class including him so good student/teacher ratio. He is supper excited about school.
After orientation Kip wanted to go and play with Tyler Nikki's son who is also in Kip's class. So, she had free passes to Kx fitness bounce house. The kids really had a lot of fun. They had big inflatables, car roller coaster, and craft section. Very nice to be able to go and play for free.

Our trip to DC...We left Thursday night to head up to our Friends house in Stafford, VA. We got there about 10:30pm, got settled at went to bed. Friday our plan was to get up early and try to get to see some of the sites (get tickets). We woke were tired and went back to bed. The kids got up got ready ate breakfast and headed out the door. This was our trial run for Saturday (not a good run). We got to the Metro station used the tickets our friend gave us and we were on our way. Kipling had so much fun on the train. I am so glad we were able to go on Friday so the kids had a lot more room and freedom. Everyone on the train was so nice, and we sat by an elderly couple that were member of our (world wide) church. We got to our stop and got off the Metro. Our first site was to see the Washington Monument, then on to see the WWII Memorial. When we got to the World War II Memorial they were having a tour and I thought it was very interesting so I joined the tour. As you can see by the pictures it ended with just Spencer and I interested in the tour. After visiting with the horse which was a big highlight to the children, we went by the Lincoln Memorial building. We did not dare climb those steps with a double stroller. So, we ended up just walking around and finally making it to the History Museum before my ankle was about to give out. I really enjoyed the History Museum, I am not a big History buff but it was quite interesting. I always need something to keep myself intrigued, so as we started our tour I found a brochure and as we were going I was able to mark things off and get stamps through out the tour. Off to the White House. There was so much security there, I do not think I have ever been there with that much security (tax dollars at its best), but I guess it is giving people jobs. We talked to one of the maintenance guys at one of the parks, about Obama and when and how often he leaves. How you can tell if he is leaving on business or pleasure, he actually leaves out of different entrances depending what we is going to do. After visiting the White House we found another park where we could sit down and eat lunch. This was Kip's favorite part of the day. There was a squirrel, and the squirrel would run down the tree where Kip was at and then race around the tree and then run back up the tree. He did this several times. Kip thought it was so funny. Kip would chase the squirrel around the tree. When the squirrel finally got tired and went up and hid in the tree Kip was so sad. We did some more walking and then it was time to head home.

What a fun day...I have never taken part in a Rally. The message so strong. RESTORING HONOR. Becoming one again, helping and loving each other. We are all here for the same reason, can we not all get a long. Chad was so excited to go to the Rally we got up early that morning so we could get there and try to sit with one of our friends, however, the Subway trip took twice as long since they closed down part of the track and also since there were so many people we could not even get where she was. The man driving the Metro said we were passed the weight limit on the Metro. So, many nice people coming together from all faiths, all walks of life and from almost every State, if not from every State. I was amazed, I talked to people from California, Washington State, and Oregon just to name a few from the West. Several from Florida, SC, Virginia, DC, and of course NC.
After the Rally we walked down to the Capital Building, then we went to the Space Museum and of course just walked and walked and walked. You would have thought we would have sang. There were so many people there that it was worth walking around and seeing some of the sites then waiting in the Metro lines. We walked to our Metro Station-CLOSED, WHAT!!! So, we had to walk to a different station, which did not have a color lines, so here we are with a double stroller trying to get off the train and run to get back on the next train. I am sure that was a sight to see. We finally made it back to my friends house where the kids played. I felt like I was on pins and needles since they were not there. But, it was a nice break. On Sunday since the kids were not feeling well we left after cleaning our friends house. Kipling was so confused. He did not want to leave HIS house. He thought we had moved. He said, I love my new BIG house and my new DOG, as well as his new toys and TV. He was very sad to leave.
Overall we had a nice stay and it was fun to see the sights. It was very rushed and would love to go back so the kids can see the Temple and also spend time with our friends. Thank you Angie and Jeff for letting us stay in your house. Hope to visit you guys soon

One day this Summer my Friend Michelle and I decided to take the kids to the Museum in Downtown Raleigh. While we were there we were able to go to a class called meet the animal. today we were not able to meet the animal, but the kids were able to learn about how caterpillars make chrysalis's and then turn into butterflies and also how cocoons turn into moths.
Very educational. The kids were able to take turns acting like they were in a chrysalis. They had so much fun and at the end they were able to take home a chrysalis. We ate lunch and looked around a little more and then went downstairs to the discovery room. I have never been in the discovery room before, it has some really cool things in it. The kids really liked looking out the window and seeing all of the big machines building the building next to the museum. They also enjoyed dressing up, we had a lot of fun. Thanks Michelle.
**I do not like to go Downtown Raleigh in fear of being mugged. So I do not go unless I have a friend with me.

We had such a fun time celebrating with friends and family. Thank you so much for all who could come out. The children really enjoyed all of the candy. Nate kept sneaking back for some more M&M's. He was so cute, he would look around to see if anyone was looking and then he would make a dash for the M&M's and then go back to playing like nothing had happened. Mannon enjoyed the YoYo candy snack so much she got sick after the party. So, the candy was a big hit for the children. It was fun hanging out with everyone during the party and then we had a special luncheon after the party for family. After everyone left we were blessed to have some more family come and visit with us. We had a wonderful visit with Cletus, Alice, Hayden, Kate, and Ruth Simpson. Cherre gave us a coupon for Sada to get a free bear at Build-A-Bear for her Birthday. So, for a special treat I took only Sada for some "Mommy" time. The whole way to Crabtree she was asking where's Baby, where's Kip. When she got into the Mall, her first trip, she had forgotten all about her Brothers. It was PLAY TIME!!! She had so much fun playing on the escalators going up and down, up and down, I do not know how many times we went but she had a blast. Then on to picking Doggie Simpson. She had so much fun. She wanted all of the bears, dogs, horses, ect. It was busy that day so we had to wait in line and she was not up for that, but when she got to picking out some outfits for her Dog, she was all about it. So, we picked out 3 outfits out of I do not know how many she picked up and we were out the door. She wanted to skip the part about naming and registering the puppy. When asking her what she wanted to name her dog she said, "Doggie", So again I asked her what she wanted to name her dog she said, "DOGGIE". So, after giving her some choices of some girl names, I again asked her what she wanted to name her Dog. This time even louder she yelled "DOGGIE" Doggie Simpson it is. After paying for it, her dog was in a cute carrying box and she dragged the box around the mall. She was so cute. Everyone was stopping to talk to her. We then went and had some cookies and slushy at Ms. Fields. We had such a wonderful time.
**Just a side note. This was very had for me. I have such a big phobia of Malls. I do not like malls at all. So, when people came up and talked her her I had to put on my fake smile and act like everyone that came up to us was not a criminal. And then parking in the parking deck...OH MY I thought I was going to loose it. I was so scared. But we made it and had lots of FUN!!

The Duke life flight helicopter was supposed to come, but because of budget cuts this couple was nice enough to fly their helicopter for the kids to look at. We got there late and I did not feel like waiting in line so I did something I never do, I cut in line just so the kids could see the helicopter quickly and I could sit down. We waited to watch the helicopter fly off and then headed home. I learned a lot about flying a helicopter, how fun it is and how expensive they are.

During Summer reading the Clayton police came and visited with the children and talked to them about what a police officer does. After they got done talking they were able to sit the police car and since we were the last ones there the kids were able to sit on the motorcycle.

We decided one Saturday morning that we would go and pick blueberries. On the way to pick blueberries the car started to sputter while we were driving. Paranoid me I told Chad to turn around and go home. He kept going, all of a sudden it popped into my mind some friends had just moved into a subdivision right around the turn of the street. We pulled in and the car coasted to their house. As soon as we got there the big white van was not there, my stomach started to get sick, and just knew they were not there, and they went to go and get the youth from our church from the Pioneer trek in Virginia. Just then we saw Bro. Edmond. We got out the kids and I went in side and the guys worked on the car. Bro. Edmond said it was safe to drive so we left.
We got to the blueberry fields and started to pick a lot later then we had anticipated. I did not realize how long it took to pick good blueberries and also how hot it was going to be. Especially for three little kids. Is it worth picking.....I do not know. The time we had together and that is all that mattered. Quality time as a family.

Chad came home from work in time to make it for one of Scott's games. This is not the usual so we wanted to take the opportunity while we could. This would also be the last time we would be able to see the Trueloves in several weeks before there track out West. We had a lot of fun watching Scott play. He played really well that game even though they lost. They came in second place. Kip and Sada had a lot of fun playing with Mackenzie and Caroline. They also enjoyed the candy the girls bought for them.

WOW My little girl is 2 years old today. It does not seem that long ago we were bringing her home. Time is going so fast. Sometimes I just want to turn back time. But, we all must grow up.
Sada is talking up a storm, she just loves to argue with anyone...maybe she might be lawyer, She loves Elmo she would watch Elmo all day long if I would let her. She also loves to play with her brother Kipling, well most of the time it ends up in an argument or a knock down fight. Sometimes I cannot tell if they are fighting or wrestling. She is also a nurturer, or I think that is what she is trying to do when she turns Spencer over her knee, tries to roll him over, she just loves her BABY!! Sada is also very crafty she loves to paint, color, paint and paint some more. She also loves to play with trains, blocks and her little people motorcycle. We have a couple different train sets and she will play with all of them at one time if you let her. I am her favorite person when I put together the old 1978 little people train set and just sit down with her and wind the train up.
When she is in her sweet mood she will get me what ever I want, however when she is in one of her moods she will tell me NO, NO, NO!! Not just one No but a couple and sometimes several.
She is still attached to her pacifier, she has to have it where ever she goes. Not only does she have her pacifier she has to carry her silky, and if we do not have those two things we will be in a whole lot of trouble. She especially will not give up her crib. We have tried to move her to her bed, one night is all she will do and she already has to be a sleep or it will not sleep in her bed. She does not like when Spencer sleeps in her crib, even for nap time. She will climb in and not good result come from that. She definitely keeps me going ALL day long. But, what would I be doing if I did not have her, something would definitely be missing.

Day 7: We woke up and were running like crazy trying to get everything cleaned up and out the door in time. We did not get everything out on time, but we were checked out. We then headed down to the pool one last time and off we went to my Mom's house to spend some time there, and then I thought we better get home to see Chad.

Today I was by myself. I did not have a choice. Most of the day we stayed inside watching TV (the kids did not mind). Then about 2pm we headed out to go and paint a turtle coin bank. On our way down it was just our luck the ice cream truck just so happened to come by. I usually do not let the children get anything from the ice cream truck and they know they are not to ask for any ice cream from the ice cream truck. So, as the ice cream truck came by the were so excited just to see the ice cream truck. And then for me to ask do you guys want to get ice cream. They were so excited. They were even more excited when they found out they could both pick the ice cream they wanted. We were on vacation, why not!! Then off we went to the activities center and they both painted a turtle coin bank. Sada decided that she wanted to paint herself and have nothing to do with the turtle. Then Spencer decided to have a melt down, and then Sada decided to have a melt down and then you guessed it Kipling decided to have a melt down. So, we left our turtle banks there and went back to the apartment, and waited til Nana got home.
Nana got home and he hit the pools again.

My Dad came up and spent the day with us at the Beach since I was going to be alone with the kids. I was not ready to be alone away from home all by myself. I really enjoyed the day spending with my Dad, there have not been very many days in my life where it was just my Dad and I. Today was my day he came to spend with me and the kids. We had a lot of fun. He took Kip and Sada down to the pool while I was trying to get Spencer and I ready. After we went to the pool we went back up to the apartment to rest and eat lunch. Then we went over to the fish and fed the fish. The kids had a lot of fun with Grandpa Bob and so did I. My Mom came home and then my Dad headed home. Thanks Dad for making a special trip to help me out. And thanks for all the fun we had today. Love you:0)

Day 4-My Mother took today off, she usually takes one day off to spend the whole day with us. We usually go to Beaufort but today we just stayed at the resort. We headed to the outdoor pool first and then went to do a craft. We came back to the apartment to find Spencer and Chad resting. We ate Lunch, rested, then it was time for Heather to leave. We went back out to the pool later that day and then it was time for dinner. After dinner Chad had to leave because he had to go to work the next day. It was sad to see him go.

Day three-We woke up a little early, because they were having a free Breakfast, so we had to take advantage the free donuts, juice and bagel YUM!! When we got back to the apartment, Heather was already there, so we got dressed in our swimsuits, packed a humongous bag and hiked to the beach. Heather rented us an umbrella and chairs so Spencer was able to lay under the umbrella and we were able to sit in the chairs. I always wondered why some one would rent an umbrella and chairs when you could just sit and lay on the beach. Now I know it was well worth it. After the beach we came home ate lunch, took naps and then my Mom came home from work and we headed out for the pool. We went to the outdoor pool first and then after dinner we headed out to the indoor pool across the way. I had a lot of fun spending time with my Sister.

Sunday-We woke up and went to church. We came home, ate, my Sister came over. Chad and I decided that we would still keep the Sabbath day Holy even though we were on vacation-no water, shopping, etc. I cut the Boys hair and then we decided to go and walk on the Beach. Kipling had his own definition of keeping the Sabbath day Holy since he ended up in the water. It was very windy that day at the beach and the water was very rough. There were two people who died that weekend that is how bad the undertow was. We let the kids play in the sand for a while then headed back to the apartment. We also played with sidewalk chalk, went to the park, the kids ran around the resort, and ate Popsicles. It was a very nice low key day.

We got to the resort around 3:30pm on Saturday-they would not let us check in early so the kids changed into their swimsuits and jumped right into the pool. After we checked in and unpacked my Sister came over and we ate dinner. Chad took Kip and Sada for a walk on the Beach. I had to stay behind and feed Spencer, eat and clean up. Once we were done Heather, Mom, Spencer and I headed out to find Chad. We stopped at the play area Chad met us at the play area on his way back from the beach and the kids played for a while, until Heather had to leave and go back to her in laws. We went back to the apartment the kids took baths and we went to bed.

Spencer started screaming-his I'm in pain scream, so I took his temperature and it was 101.1. OH MY! What is wrong. I call the doctor, and my favorite nurse is off for the day, so I had to have the nurse call me back. Of course I did not feel the phone vibrate, we were at summer reading so I had to turn off the ring, and so they left a message. The tone of the message was not very inviting to call back and I do not like that nurse. So, I wait until Weds. to call my friend to tell her I am bringing him in TODAY!!! She calls me back when she gets to work and works me into the schedule. We get there my friends sees me and takes me right back (Oh how I love knowing people) and they weigh Spencer. I look at the scale and to my surprise Spencer has gained weight.....how much you say? He is now up to 15pds. 13 oz. We get into the room and since I have three screaming kids the doctors come pretty fast these days. The doctor comes in and ask so what is going on with Spencer? I tell he has an ear infection. He then asks what are his symptoms? I then run down the list....he is screaming in pain, has a temperature, and not eating very well. I them ask him if he wants to me tell him what else he wants me to look at while we are there. Meanwhile Kip and Sada find the step stool and are climbing up and down the step stool and then they found out the could climb up on the bed. Anyway, the doctor looked at his rash from head to almost toe, his sore on his neck and then his ears. Poor Guy he has a double ear infection. No wonder he has been screaming his ears off. POOR SPENCER.
The rash he said was probably from the temperature, and the sore was from his chubby neck.
So, we are now on a stronger antibiotic than last time since it has not been that long since he had his last ear infection.
AND Kip is now throwing a fit. Gotta Go

Happy Fathers Day!!!
Today we woke up real early because Kip wanted chocolate milk, Chad talked him into drinking water. We all went back to sleep, 3 hours later Kipling came into the room wanting chocolate milk, I caved in and got him some. He drank it and a couple minute later I hear him throwing up. I jump up, because he is in my bed and he is laying right near Spencer. We clean that up, and clean him up and by that time everyone was up. The kids gave Chad his presents one by one, while I was preparing a special breakfast for him. He had Bacon, Pancakes, and an omlet with 3 types of peppers, tomatoes and cheese very yummy. Clean that up.
We went to Church came home and had our Favorite Missionaries over to eat dinner. Then my Parents stopped by to spend some time with us as well as pick up their truck I brought home from the beach.
It was such a nice an peaceful day we were able to spend together and not have to go anywhere.
We love visiting family but it is just nice for once to stay home and enjoy each other.
I am so grateful for my husband and all the things he does for me and also my family. I am grateful for my own Father and his hard work, faith, and example he showed me so I knew what I wanted in a husband, and I found all of the qualities I was looking for.
I just hope and pray Chad will continue to be the great DAD he is and my boys will grow up and acquire most of his traits.

I got an e-mail from a friend with the schedule of free movies. This was the first one, as well as the first time Kip, Sada and Spencer have ever been to a movie theater. They had so much fun. It helped that Dianna pulled into the parking lot right after I did so we walked in together. Kip and Kinleigh held hands into the theater and then sat together, they were so cute. Levi and Sada sat by each other until Sada could not sit still any longer. She got out of her seat and Levi want so badly to get out of his seat but he was buckled in. Sada got back into her seat for the last couple of minutes so I could get a picture .
So, the first movie, Kip, Sada and Spencer watched in a movie theater was Doogal. Very cute movie.
The movie starts when a shaggy dog Doogal is trying to get a candy from a cart. He put the nail in the road to stop a cart and is waiting for a sweet prize for guarding it. When the cart is going on again Doogal decides to choose the other road. There he meets the strange blue jack-in-the-box-like creature. It takes a decorative Foot Guard figurine with three magic diamonds and disappears. After this even the road and all things around become frozen.

The citizens are very scared because of these occasions. They call the kind wizard named Zebadee. Zebadee is the similar creation and is eager to help everybody. Zebadee knows the evil named Zeebad. He has been living in a mystical prison and is known as ice wizard. But now Zeebad is free. And can freeze all around. He is the very wizard caused the first Ice Age.

The only way to bring Zeebad back to the prison is taking away three magic diamonds. Otherwise the world will become frozen again. The save mission is charged for the friends’ gang: the cow named Ermintrude, the snail Brian, rabbit Dylan and dog Doogal and magic speaking train. They get to know that Zeebad has gathered all three diamonds and can freeze even the sun and realize how serious their mission is. Our heroes go to the snowy mountains and make a camp there.

During the battle taking place next to the Zeebad’s refuge the evil wizard freezes Zebadee and collapses the cliff on which he stands.

Dougal and his friends stay alone without their guide. They have a trip then to the volcano full of traps and skeleton guards. They met Sergeant Sam having the third diamond in his chest. It’s too hard to take diamonds back but our heroes never give up. When Zebad is going to breeze the sun Ermintrude, Brian, Dylan, and finally Dougal do their best to stop him. They get a victory over evil force and unfreeze Zebadee. The ice all over melts and the life in the village becomes happy again.

Memorial Day-I kept telling Chad I needed to go and buy a swim suit. So, when time came he said I could go all by myself. OH WOW!!! I needed the break let me tell you. Spencer & Sada were asleep so at first it was just Kipling. I pumped so Spencer would have something to eat when he woke up. My first stop to get gas, because the day before I drove all the way to Smithfield and back with my gas light on to go to church. Then to Target to look at Swimsuits. As I was walking in I told myself today was a day for me and me only. I was walking around just looking at all of the clothes and one of the lady's that worked there came up to and asked me if I needed any help finding something. CAN SOMEONE NOT JUST LOOK AROUND W/OUT KIDS!! So, I did not find anything, well not in my price range so I head over to the bra section to scope out nursing bras, and there was actually something there besides plain white. Anyway over to the kids section OH MY I was in HEAVEN!!! I saw 75% OFF I was there. So, of course the kids got clothes, since I was able to get a good deal and had the time to sort through the clothes and do the math on who was going to be what size next year. Check out and I got a lot of things for the amount I spent. Then down to Ross. There I found two swim suits, 5 shirts a beach bag, also some flip flops. Oh course I had to buy Sada some shoes poor girl needs clothes and shoes. Go up to the register and oh man Chad is not going to let me go out again for a long time. But, I was able to get good prices and be out shopping for several hours by myself and treat myself to some more Anniversary presents. I needed the shirts since my top side does not fit most of the shirts I have in my closet. I guess that is the blessing of having 3 kids right close together. YEEHAH!!!

Saturday-visit to Sesame Street

I had scheduled a time to go and see my parents this past weekend to go to the air show at Cherry Point in Havelock and since it is closer to Jacksonville we decided to go and visit. My Mother had told me that they were having Military Appreciation Day on Base and had a carnival with lots of different things to do. So, I decided to look it up online and when I did I found they were having a Sesame Street show and you had to be Military and you had to get tickets. So, my Father went that next day and got us tickets. The kids loved the show. As soon as we got in the stadium they gave the Elmo spinners and bandanna's(free). The show was geared towards Military families and Deployment, but it was still a good show and the kids got to see the characters and best of all it was FREE!! When we were leaving they were giving out free boxes of girl scout cookies again all FREE!! They also gave us two DVD's which were geared as well to Military Families, but Kip still loves to be able to see Elmo *that is all that matters.
The USO put on the show and paid for all of the goodies given out. Thank-you so much USO. Why did they not have this when I was growing up?!?!?!

Friday was a long day for me. Everyone woke up early, so I decided that we would go to Aldi after everyone ate Breakfast and dressed. After Breakfast and in between getting dressed my friend Miche called me to see if we wanted to go strawberry picking with them. I of course said yes and my thought was now I would go after we picked strawberries. We get to the strawberry farm and waited for Miche. She got a little lost so I helped her get back on track and when they got there and after feeding Spencer we were off picking strawberries. Porter Farms strawberries were much better than Smith's nursery and were a lot cheaper. Instead charging by the pound like Smith's they charge by the bucket ($8). Spencer slept through most of it until Sada decided she was done eating the strawberries and wanted to play with Spencer. She would take out his pacifier and he would cry so I would go over and put the pacifier in his mouth, meanwhile she has run off. But, as soon as I got Spencer calmed down and the pacifier back in his mouth and back in the car seat, here comes Sada out of nowhere. We did this little game several times until I just gave up and held Spencer until my friend was done picking. She then took all the kids bought them ice cream. Meanwhile during one of the games Sada took the Camera out of the Camera bag and was playing with it. While the kids were eating ice cream, I went finished picking two buckets and was off to make sure Sada still had my camera and pay for the strawberries. I paid for the strawberries and then went to ask Sada where the camera was. Her response, "I do'n know". So I go and ask the lady if anyone turned in a camera NOPE was the reply. So, off I was looking for this camera. Getting frustrated but not trying to show it especially to the kids. I look everywhere, up and down the rows, all around the farm, under the shelter, in the parking lot, in the plants, and under the plants. After an hour of searching I found it hidden nicely under one little strawberry plant. After finding the camera and settling down the kids ran around and I bought them some fresh limeade (so good). Spencer was getting hungry so I decided we needed to get in the car and go. I put the kids in and started to feed Spencer and went to start the car only to hear click, click, click, OH MY!!! I tell my friend Miche I need a jump and she moves her car in position so we can jump it. She is reading the directions on her jumper cables when a man comes over to help. Meanwhile I am still sitting in the car feeding Spencer. Miche tells the man she needs to turn off her can, the man says oh no don't worry. He puts on the cables when he puts the cables on my car it sparks, OH MY, then tells me to try to start my car....NOTHING. OH MY I think he has broken my car. The lady he was with had jumper cables and those worked thank goodness. I came straight home no Aldi. I had to clean the strawberries, make freezer jam and try to figure out what to do with the rest of them. Then I had to pack the car to go to my Mothers house. I think someone was really trying to test my patience. The Day was over and we made it safe and sound to my Mothers house. Which is another entry.

Chad and I's anniversary was May 12th. I told Chad last year I wanted to do something BIG for our 10 year anniversary, then we found out we were having Spencer and things changed. I will have to wait until I am done having kids or have a bigger space in having children, to go on that long wonderful vacation, we will see when that happens. I usually cook a big meal with yummy steaks and baked potato's and lots of other good sides. This year however, I did nothing, Chad came home and said lets go out to a Japanese Restaurant (I was all for that). We were almost there when we past TGIFriday's and their sign said kids eat FREE Mon-Thur. I looked at Chad and said the kids eat free. He turned around real fast. I am all for free!!! Very sad I gave up the Japanese food, maybe another day. That Sunday we went to Chad's Parents house to celebrate B-Day's and our anniversary and here is the beautiful yummy cake, it was coconut creme with strawberries dipped in chocolate on top. Our Fridge went out and so I was able to pick out a fridge I wanted with in reason. We got a good price on it, it was on clearance plus we got 10% off and 12 months free interest. Oh how I love deals. This was the only reason I was able to get a fridge so nice. Our anniversary was really nice being able to go out to eat and spend it together as a family, and then the next day celebrating my Brothers anniversary with them going to the Temple:)

I just love this little girl. She is so sweet and adds a sweet spirit to our home. I am so grateful my Heavenly Father has sent her to me. She is such a happy go lucky little girl. She reminds me of myself growing up, I was such a tom boy and did everything the boys did. She loves to play in the dirt and get messy (this clay is not the best since it does not come out of clothes), She loves to just go and play by herself, she loves Thomas the Train, jumping on the trampoline, playing in the sand pile, swinging on the swing (she can swing with me pushing her for 45 min. or until Spencer starts crying). She loves to read, she will get books out and just look at them and if I can I will read her a book of her choice just for her. In the picture above we had just signed Kipling up for Pre-School and I had put Kipling in the car and I was putting Spencer in when I look up to see her no where around the car. I start looking around and there she was playing in the grass-silly little girl. Sada loves her Mother, she could spend all day in my arms if she could. It breaks my heart when she wants me to hold her and I cannot.
She has started to throw some good temper tantrums when she does not get her way she will arch her back and hit her head- I just hate this. She will also jump in the air and fall on her bottom-this is quite funny to watch. You can tell when she does something wrong or when she just looks at you and smiles-she is just to cute, sometimes I do let her get away with things, this makes Chad mad.
Sada is really starting to talk-where you can understand her when she takes out her paci. She loves to repeat everything you say. The other day Kip and Sada where taking turns playing with a flashlight and I told her Sada you have 2 min. okay, she turns to me and say "okay". She did not have any clue what that meant, and through a fit when I tried to get the flashlight away from her.
She loves to be by my side. She will take her toys and bring them and put them down beside me and play with them just so she can be with me. She also like to help with the garden. The other day Chad and I were out weeding and Chad taught her how to pull a weed. I look up at Sada to see what she is doing and She is pulling up one of our Watermelon plants (have no fear, it looks like it died however because of all of the rain we just had it came back up again). She like to help water the garden or have water fights with her brother I am not quite sure which one she is trying to do.
I just love having Sada in our Family and would not trade her for the WORLD.

Chad had to go to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base one Saturday to do some work so he decided to take Kipling with him so he could see the air planes. Chad is only able to go in certain areas of the base so they had to stay within the sections on his badge. Kipling had a blast. For a couple of reasons One just to be with Dad all by himself, Two Dad took him out for Breakfast, Three he was able to see COOL PLANES, Four he was able to help Daddy work, Five when they got to the office in Fayetteville he was able to have a BIG piece of chocolate cake as well as other goodies that we left over from a paryy. This Saturday I did not mind so much he had to work since he was able to take Kipling with him and give him special attention.

What a smart girl, I would pick the Strawberries and she would go behind me and eat them out of the bucket. She knew where to get the good stuff.

We had so much fun this year as a family picking/eating Strawberries. Actually I was the only one picking everyone else was eating. Since I had little help and not much time I only picked one small bucket and we were off to Lowe's so build a school house. I made freezer jam with all of the Strawberries we picked. We had already eaten a lot of that jam. We really need to get back out there and pick some more. Anyone want to go pick Strawberries.....I cannot go by myself with 3 little ones. Just thinking of it makes me stress out.
I really enjoy spending all the time I can as a family as Chad has to work most Saturdays.

while we were waiting for the ice cream to get ready the kids played outside and I tried to clean up a little after such a big feast!

Spencer had his blessing in the Clayton Ward, Smithfield, NC on May 2nd. Most of his uncles were there. Those who stood in the circle were Papa, Uncle Chuck, Eric, Brad, Christian(Chad's side of the family) Grandpa Bob, Uncle Andrew, Jared, and Christian(my side of the family), and of course Daddy. Those who were in attendance other than those in the circle was Uncle Collin and Cayler,Aunt Cherre, Crystal, Kristy, Camillia, Candice, Leigh, Heather and Karen. Cousins in attendance were Scott, Caroline, Mackenzie, Kalea, Mia, Landen, Spencer, Maddie, Emma and Hannah, as well as Grandmother Simpson and Nana. Immediate Family your mother, Kipling and Sada. Chad gave the name and blessing it was very special and sweet. After church we had dinner at my house we had a yummy dinner consisting of Pork Tenderloin, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Mac and Cheese, Squash Casserole, Rolls, Chips, and carrots and dip. We were supposed to have Homemade Ice Cream for desert, but I could not find the motor until everyone left so we had the cookies my Mother made for appetizers as desert as well. Once everyone left we made the ice cream and invited the Erwin's over. I was running around so much that I did not have a chance to take pictures during dinner. We enjoyed all of those who came over for dinner and are very grateful for such a wonderful family that is righteous and can participate in such a wonderful event. One of our friends made a comment about how great it was to see such an big family who was able to participate. How true that is!!! I want to Thank all of my family and friends who are and will be great examples to Spencer as he grows up.

Special Day

Yesterday was a very special day for me. My Brother Christian and his wife Karen went through the temple and were Sealed for time and all Eternity. We took the missionaries in our ward with us since Elder McCullough(er) taught Karen about the church. Chad's parents watched Kip and Sada (so we had room to take the missionaries) and we left Spencer with my Sister's Nanny 5 minutes away from the temple in case I had to leave real quick to feed him . When we got to my Sister's house I had to feed Spencer which put us on a crunch for time. We got to the Temple and the Session was full, Chad and I already had an appointment but the Elders had not called. I pleaded with the Temple President to let the Missionaries in, but all he could say was we will see. Got in and told my dad and out walked the guy and in walked the Elders a couple minutes later. Elder McCullough was so excited. The Sealer asked my Brother and Karen if they were ready to get married, Karen shook her head yes Christian just sat there.....OH MY Funny BOY. I can just say it was so peaceful and my Sister,Karen and I just balled our eyes out. I am so happy for my Brother and Karen. LOVE YOU GUYS FOREVER

Here she is getting ready to go down the slide. I am so excited she is doing this by herself. It is a little hard to watch Spencer and also take her in the inflatable and go down the slide with her.

On Tuesdays we usually go to the bounce house for the kids to get out and play and then on Wednesday we go to the Library for story time and craft time. This gives the kids time out of the house and something to do. The summer schedule is out for summer reading and I am so excited, I cannot wait they have a lot of fun and exciting events planned. And another great perk is you get free books, Oh I love this....where to put them is the question?

This was definitely a treat for us to go out as a family to get a treat, I cannot remember the last time we did this. Every time I tell chad we should go and do something he always comes back with, we can do that at home. Every Saturday I have been taking the kids to Lowe's for the past three weeks. The first two weeks Chad was out of town and this past week Chad came with us after going to pick Strawberries. Lowe's gives the kids the goggles and aprons and then every week once they complete the project they get a patch to put on their aprons as well as a certificate. They have really enjoyed this. It has been a little stressful for me having to help/try to make both of the kits for the kids. Luckily both weeks Chad was not there people have taken pitty on me and have helped me out with at least one of the kits.
Spencer....well he just sits underneath the table and sleeps through all of the hammering. What a champ!!

When I put Spencer down either to lay on the couch on the Boppy, in the crib on my Bed, on the trampoline if we are outside and the kids are playing elsewhere or where ever Spencer let out a little screech and do I blame him. Not one bit. He has a Three year old Brother and a 21 month old sister that run for him or somehow sense I put him down and they come running. Yesterday I let the kids know over and over and over that Spencer did not feel well and to leave him alone. I put Spencer in Sada's crib where I just knew he would be safe. Not even a couple minutes go by and I hear Screaming coming from Sada's room. It was Spencer. Sada had climbed into the crib and was laying on top of him...OH MY!! Also yesterday I put Spencer on the trampoline so I could push Sada on the swing, Kipling is happy playing on the slides and then all of a sudden I look over and there Kipling is jumping on the trampoline just laughing as he is jumping up and down and Spencer is going up and down just terrified. I run over yelling and screaming and poor Kipling is just staring at me terrified OH MY! Today I am fixing lunch and Sada and Kipling are supposed to be in there seats and Spencer is sitting on the couch in the Boppy, when all of a sudden I look over at Sada's empty seat. I go running and there Sada has already pulled Spencer out of the boppy and he is hanging off of the couch the only thing keeping him from falling is he is sandwiched between Sada and the couch. I come and say I will catch you Spencer and Sada moves luckily I was there to catch him. Poor Spencer. He will be a strong boy when he grows up thanks to his older brother and sister.

I noticed Sat., Sun. and Mon. Spencer was warm but was shivering. Saturday I was trying to get everything ready for Spencer's blessing so I was busy and Chad had him almost all day except for feedings. My Mother came to me on Sunday and told me that he was hot and need to to change into some cooler clothes.....UMMMM. Monday he was still hot and we had a rough night so in the morning while I was changing his diaper I decided that I would check his temperature and sure enough he had a fever. His temperature was 100 degrees even (I thought I knew I had a perfect child). I waited a little bit to check his temp. again and it was still 100 degrees even. I called NURSE PAM she told me that I needed to bring him in since he was so young. He was also whimpering all day. POOR SPENCER, I felt so bad. I could not give him any Tylenol since they recalled it. So, I had to call Chad to get the go ahead to take him in and be seen. The doctors office was closed for lunch so I had to wait to schedule and appoint. We get put on the 5:00 list since all of the appointments had been taken and nurse Pam told me to get there early so I can be seen before the mad rush comes in at 5pm. We get there and the doctor comes in and checks him over, he has an ear infection (OH MY). Since he is so young he had to go through some other test has well. They had to put a Catheter in him and check his Urine, then he had to have a CBC test by pricking his heel and get blood. OH POOR SPENCER he screamed the whole time and I do not blame him the whole thing looked like it hurt. The CBC test and the Urine all check out fine, so he is now on Antibiotics for 10 days for his ears. OH MY this has already started. At two weeks we Both had THRUSH this affected me much more than it affected him, but he still had to be on antibiotics, and now at 4 almost 5 weeks he has to be on them again. One good thing out of the doctors visit was we were able to see how much he weighed. Spencer weighed in at a whopping 10lbs. 14 oz. They did comment on how big and healthy he was other than his ears.
Chad's Mom called me today and mentioned something that I had never heard of before and thought I would bring it to others attention and that is the Whooping Cough Vaccination for the MOTHERS. You are supposed to get it either before you have the baby or right after so it can sustain the baby until he/she gets his/her vaccines when they are 2 months old. So, if you are pregnant or plan on having a baby ask your doctor about this. I am going to ask mine when I go for my 6 weeks check up. Chad's Mom said a lady in her ward (church) had it before she left the hospital. But, no one said anything to me about it and maybe Spencer would not have an ear infection right now. Who knows.
Anyone who has infant or Child Tylenol or Motrin should discontinue using it right away. They have found traces of Mold as well as incorrect dosage (the medicine is to strong), not good. You can go to this website for more info. http://www.mcneilproductrecall.com/.

Don't get me wrong I love my little boy but, things were much easier when there was just two!!!
Here is what we did a couple days before Spencer arrived.
Friday morning we went to my last doctors appointment. After the appointment and the okay to be induced on Tues. Kipling begged me to go to Farm Days. Since we had to wait for my Sister to get home for our next even I decided I would take them. They had so much fun. they did not get to pet the pigs, however the pigs were much more active on day 2 than day 1. The turkeys were much more fun to watch as well. After visiting the animals one more time and eating some more ice cream, we got a call from my sister saying she was on her way home from work. Off we were to go and get lunch. I had to get Mexican one more time since I had an excuse and then I stopped off at Wendys for the kids. We got to my sisters house and off we were to make Frozen Meals for when I have Spencer. I was at my sisters house til after 11pm making meals. We made 34 meals. 12 for me, 12 for my sister and 10 for my sister in law who is on bedrest. After making the meals we had to clean the house since the kids destroyed it. Saturday we went to Garners Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The kids played on the inflatables, had balloons made, gathered goodies and then off to the park to wait for the traffic to die down. We then headed to the Simpson's homestead and spent some time with Grandmother. Sunday was a day of rest.
Monday cleaned and then took the kids to Grandmothers at 8pm. We had a lot of fun in the days right before Spencer, but would not trade Spencer for anything.

I have felt that I needed to share this with everyone......Please keep your children close to you at all times. This past weekend Chad, the kids and myself all went to Dairy Queen for the Blizzard special, while we were there we saw one of Chad's co-workers that works in the Raleigh office and started talking to him. As we were talking to him an old man came and asked if the kids could go and see his dogs in his car-Oh the kids were so excited!! I said sure and off the kids went with this old man I did not know. As I thought about it Chad was already off to be with the kids, the dogs and the old man. I turned to his co-worker and said, "That man could have gone off with my children." He then told me his wife works for a housing community in Clayton where they have had a man driving around asking children and teenagers to get in his car (This has happened on several occasions). How scary is that. The community is not very far from where I live and can happen in any community.
I know it is so easy to let your children just run at the park, especially when you have more than one child you are trying to keep an eye on and they all want to do different things.
As I have been reflecting on this conversation with Chads co-worker it reminded me of an e-mail I received a couple months ago from one of Chad's sisters who lives in the area. Her and her family were shopping at a near by store and the children went and played in the play area they had in the store. She kept an eye on them and did not wander to far off. One time she went to check on the children she noticed a Man watching his children play (and particularly one of her children), she watched them closer as any mother or parent would do. They checked out and left the store when a man approached them in the Parking Lot and asked, "how old is your daughter" I think the man guessed. The held hands tightly got in the car and drove to the next store they needed to go to in the shopping center. They then saw the man at that store and in the parking lot. Everyone was safe, However this could have ended not so good if my Sister-in-law had not been intune and watching what was going on.
I know that this is not an up beat post but please be careful with those around us and we especially need to talk to our children. It is sad that we can not let our children play like we were able to or be out of sight for something might happen it only takes a second.
I know a lot of people have asked me if I needed help(I guess I look like I need it and I am struggling with three children. I often say no thanks for if I really do I let them carry the grocery's the diaper bag or something I can always replace. I cannot replace my children.
Not everyone is bad, but we do need to be careful with the most precious gift our Heavenly Father has given to us.

I just LOVE Western Wake in Cary. The Women's Pavilion is amazing. I really liked all of the nurses and the staff was extremely nice. Chad had to go and pick Kip and Sada up Weds. morning and bring them to the hospital and they stayed until about 8pm. WOW!!! that was a long day. They tore that hospital room up. It did not matter how dirty it was the nurses did not care they would sent someone to clean it up or Chad would just ask the cleaning lady for a broom and a couple times he cleaned up. As you can tell in the pictures I was kicked out of my bed pretty much the whole day on Weds. and when Chad and the kids came on Thurs. that was not nice. Since you were able to order as much food as you wanted I was able to get food for the kids as well as have the lunch/dinner Coach boxes, which had a hogie sandwich, macaroni salad and a cookie, so there was enough food for us all and when we needed a snack we just had to go down the hall and there was fresh fruit, sodas, crackers, and muffins pretty much all day. SO, you can guess Kip and Sada learned where this room was real fast, they love POP! They did not want to leave the hospital, this was a treat for them...yet it was very stressful to me. Chad left that night and I was by myself Spencer was Crying and would not stop and a CNA came in and I just broke down in tears. She said what is wrong. She said the wrong words. I told her my husband left me....okay not really left me (you should have seen her face) so I rephrased it to my husband left me here and went home with the kids, my child is crying I think I am starving him, I need sleep I do not know what to do, he lost his bands everything was wrong. The CNA says do you want me to take the baby to the Nursery? NO, I reply I cannot sleep when he is away because then I will just lie in be waiting for someone to bring him back to nurse so I do not get any sleep. The CNA calmed me down and reassured me I was doing okay and then we talked about Kip and Sada. The next morning Chad comes with the Kids we eat Breakfast and I am ready to check out so I do not have to deal with kids screaming up and down the hall of the hospital and just going crazy. They finally let us leave right before lunch was served. I think they do that purposely so you go home hungry. I was glad when we finally got home!!
Next baby hopefully my Mother will be retired and will be able to stay with them the whole time!!

I know everyone has been waiting to see pictures of Spencer, but I have been to sleep deprived to get on the computer and blog about him. Spencer was born March 30th at 3:33pm and weighed 6lb. 130z. measuring in at 20 1/4 in. long. We got to Western Wake a little after 6:00am checked in got back to the room. They started the potocin a little before 8:00am doctor broke my water about 8:30am had to have 2 epidurals about 10:30am (the first one would not thread) and then we were off. The doctor came in about noon and told me when I was ready to give him 6 min. and he would be there, at about 3:15 I told the nurse I was ready she checked and there was Spencer. She called Dr. Siedel and he was on his way. It took him 7 min. and then decided he was going to stop and talk to the nurses. Lindsey (the nurse ran out to get him) as I was yelling Dr. Siedel you better get in here NOW!!!
I pushed 3 times and Spencer was out. He came out screaming with the cord wrapped around his neck and body he can scream through anything I guess. After they gave him back to me and everyone was out of the room and he was still screaming I decided I was going to try to nurse him and of course like most boys latched on right away and has not wanted to stop since....this is why I am sleep deprived. He is so sweet and just adorable....I think I am a little bias one because he is mine and the other because he looks like Chad. We are so glad that he is here and is a wonderful addition to our Family.

Farm Days 2010

Farm Days 2010

Today we went to Farm Days at NCSU. We just love Farm Days. Kipling and Sada love to see and pet the animals, as well as get on the tractors and eat the best ICE CREAM in town made at NCSU. Sada also enjoyed finding a football that she carried around most of the 3 hours we were there. They were able to go in and see the pigs, which Sada thought was great because she thought she was not supposed to be in the pig pen. They also loved the chicks, Kipling did such a good job holding the little chicks. We were able to sit by a pretty lake and eat lunch while we were there, before we were off for another trip around the farm. Every time we went by the cow Sada would go Moo Moo Moo Moo she was so cute. Kipling was so excited they had horses there. Kipling loves horses, hopefully I can find somewhere around where Kipling can ride Ponies that does not cost that much. We might be going back tomorrow after the doctors appointment depending on how I feel.

Earlier this month (one of the first nice warm days) My friend Miche called me up and asked us to go to the park. It took us a while to get out the door, but when we finally made it we had a blast. We went to the White Deer Park in Garner. Sada wanted to go down the slide but would NOT go down by herself. I am sure it was quite a site watching me get into the slide, and you can only imagine how hard it was for Sada, my big belly and myself to squeeze in there. Needless to say good thing my friend got the camera out because that was my one and only time going down the slide. I know Sada wishes we would have gone more but that was all I could handle. I cannot wait until she can do thing herself however, I also do not want to rush this sweet baby/toddler stage.

These past two weeks were quite long. I have had a sinus infection, I asked the doctor to give me some medicine but he told me to live with it since I did not have much longer. Needless to say since I have to see him every week I was able to get some medicine on Friday. Things are much better. But, during these last two weeks we have stayed around the house instead of doing our weekly routine of the bounce house, Library and other play dates. It has not been fun. Today was our first day actually getting out of the house. Kipling was so excited to get back to the bounce house, Sada on the other hand was in my arms the entire time.

Where is Spencer?

I went to the doctor on Friday and while we were there there was a girl having complications, so I had to explain to Kipling kind of what was going on as well as the doctor had two ladies at the Hospital in Labor. Kipling I guess got confused because when we came home to change our clothes 'with the nice weather, he looked into the Bassinet and said WHERE'S SPENCER? He was so cute because he was rocking the bassinet thinking Spencer was inside and when he looked in he was real surprised. I had to explain to him Spencer was still in my belly and he would be here soon. We are on the count down to 9 days until I go to the hospital if all goes well.
Sada is not quite sure what to think about this whole baby thing. We will see. She has definitely expanded her vocabulary, which has made life a lot easier.
This past two weeks have been hard with the change in weather and everything blooming. I have had a sinus infection/allergies and the doctor finally gave me some medicine and some sleeping pills. I told him that if these contractions were not going to make me have the baby than I needed something that would make me sleep through them since I was only getting about 3 hours of sleep a night. Not good. I have to have sleep.
All is well we are on our count down and things seem to be looking good. For that I am very grateful.

Kipling loves going to the Circus we have taken him twice and this was his third time. When we got the flyer in the mail for tickets Kipling called Chad up at work and asked if he could go. He got a broken heart when Daddy said he did not think we could fit it in the budget (okay I do not know who was more heart broken Kipling or me watching him go from being so excited to about crying). Uncle Christian saved the day when he told us he could get discount tickets from Glaxo. Kipling was so excited every morning he would wake up and ask if we were going to the Circus or if the Circus was in town. The day finally came and we had a nice family gathering with Chuck and his family, Cherre and her family, Cletus and his family, Christian and his family, Crystal and her family, Candice, Cayler, Collin, Papa and Grandmother Simpson. We were able to get there an hour before and go down and meet the clowns, other performers, and also Kipling was able to see an Elephant up close (he was so excited). It was a long day for all of us but it was well worth it. Thank you Uncle Christian it was amazing. We hope you get into med school but we also like the discounts at Glaxo!!

Sada and Kipling loved to help until it was time to go to sleep.

When the trampoline was delivered it had to come on a big freight truck it is so big. So, I told Kipling Santa was delivering his trampoline that day and when he came we ran outside and Kipling was yelling Santa, Santa he was so excited, his excitement decreased when Santa did not respond back so I had to tell him sometime Santa cannot hear. I explained to the Man that he was Santa and he just laughed. Chad and I stayed up til 11pm putting the trampoline together, what a bonding experience(haha).

Tues. night we put the enclosure up and I feel much safer with Kip and Sada jumping.

Kipling has been asking for a trampoline for quite a while now and just loves to jump on Grandmothers trampoline when we go to her house. So, Chad and I decided to order a trampoline (thanks to our tax return) for the kids and here we are putting the thing together and their first jump.

A Child's Imagination

Kipling has had a imaginary pet mouse for about two years now, and about a year and a half a go I told him his pet mouse was lonely and needed a friend to stay outside with him. So, he came up with a couple of mice but I guess they were to boring so he made up an elephant to be friends with pet mouse and they keep each other company outside(the rule is they have to stay outside). About a week ago I read a friends blog and her daughter just realized her imaginary friends were not real and are gone. Kipling two days later we were sitting eating Breakfast he looks outside finds his mouse and elephant and wants them to come inside. I tell him they are outside friends they do not come in....well he then tells me we have a Lion, a Zebra, a Giraffe, some Monkeys, a Mommy Kangaroo and I think there were some more I have forgotten all of the animals there were a lot, these are the animals that have stayed around, all in our house. I said, "WOW we have a ZOO in our house." "Yes, Mommy a ZOO" So, I told him since all of these other animals were in our house it was not nice to keep the mouse and the elephant outside. So, he lets them in. They come in through our bay window in the kitchen. I can understand how the mouse gets in but the Elephant--have not quite figured that one out. We are now up to a family of Kangaroos a Mommy, Daddy, Brother, Sister and Baby. And the Kangaroos come to visit him at night while he is sleeping.
On Tuesday we were jumping on the Trampoline we had lots of visitors these are some of them just to name a few--Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, of course all of the Kangaroos came but the Dad had to leave and go to work, his Elephant, and Mouse. Meanwhile Sada was inside sleeping so I told Kipling I had to go inside and check on Sissy. He tells me "Mommy Kangaroo is checking on Sissy". So, I have to figure out a way to get inside with out hurting his feelings. SO, I told him Mommy Kangaroo needs help, "No, she doesn't" Okay I have to go inside and get Sissy out of bed. Mommy Kangaroo is getting Sissy out of Bed. I gave up just got off the trampoline and we came inside and he told me, "See Mommy, Mommy Kangaroo is watching Sissy."
This Mommy Kangaroo I wish she really was around she could help out so much.
Yesterday on the way home from the Library I asked Kipling if he was going to help out with Baby Spencer and he said, "Yes, and Mommy Kangaroo too"
I just laughed.
He is so funny.....We will see what he comes up with next.
He has been coming up with off the wall comments I will have to post a little later.

We go to my parents house a couple times a year and one of the times is tax season. My Father always does our taxes and as long as he always gets us money back we will let him do it (jk). While we were there Chad and my Dad went and looked at guns while Mom and I did Wii Fit Plus and the kids took a nap. When we get a TV I think the Wii will have to be our next purchase(there will probably be a new system out by that time). We had to run out for a few errands and then we took the Kid to McDonalds. Kip loves anywhere there is a playarea epecially inside on cold days. Sunday after church we let the kids outside to play. Kipling of course found the little pond at my parents house and I guess Sada saw how much fun Kipling was having and wanted to join him. As she was walking toward the water I was walking toward her just incase she decided she wanted to go swimming and half way watching the Sherriff down the road talking to the neighbor(I am nosey), and of course she wanted to go swimming.....She did not even slow down she walked straight into the water and fell in. I am screaming to my Mom for help, I have to not really jump in but, I climbed in with one leg in and grabbed her jacket with one had and pulled her out of the water. That was so scary she was just laying in the water her arms out and her eyes wide open. She did not start crying and freaking out until she was out of the water, which was good because she would have been harder to get out of the water and she probably would have gone under. I am still suprised and know we had the Lord on our side when some how she did not go under water, nor go face down. She then went in and warmed up in a nice bath since she obviously wanted to be in the water. Meanwhile my Mother took our clothes and shoes and cleaned them while we watched MaMa Mia (very cute). We had a fun trip but could have done without the swimming in the pond!!

Here my little girl is. She has not wanted to sit in her booster chair for about two months now and she has just started to where I cannot spoon feed her at all. She used to eat by herself, but when it came to food you had to use a utensil I would feed her. She refuses my help. I cannot believe she is almost 18 months. She is my joyful happy little girl.

I was thinking yesterday about "The Mother I wanted to be when I grew up". As a teenager I wanted to get married pretty young about 21(which I was 22). I wanted to have children young as well so I would be able to be the "fun mom". I wanted to be the soccer coach and run up and down the side lines. I wanted to be able to be able to run around with my children and have fun and jump around them and be youthful and not be an old fuddy duddy. But, as things turned out the Lord had a totally different plan for me....it took Chad and I a long time to get pregnant and I will have a bum/lame ankle for the rest of my life (especially if the socialized health care plan passes). I feel so sad when Kip wants me to run and play with him and walk him to the creek and most days(especially now) I cannot possibly do it. I feel like I am 80 years old my ankle, back and hip hurt all the time, I cannot even play on the floor with them without assistance getting up. This is not how I picture having kids.....I just feel like I should be able to do more.

Right before we went out we got a phone call saying that Church had been canceled for Sunday service and Chad had to make phone calls to a portion of the people in our ward family. While Chad was on the phone Sada picked up Chad's cell phone and started dialing numbers (like her father) and talking on the phone it was way to cute. This month we should have 100% on Home Teaching!!!
