Chinese Chews, pretzels and Ritz crackers with peanut butter dipped in chocolate
This year I did not do a good job taking pictures of the kids opening up their gifts, we tried to video tape and they were not to interested in opening up their presents until we put up the camera. We had a wonderful Christmas, the children slept in, and when they woke up we did the Christmas program that is in our Church's Family Home Evening manual. We read scriptures and sang Christmas songs. It was amazing and Kip and Sada actually sat through the whole presentation. After the program we let the children go out to the tree and see their presents. After opening up the presents we ate breakfast and then I finished making the treats and putting them together. The plan was to have all of the baking done by the 23rd and have the plates delivered, but since I was sick up til the 23rd I did not get to start making the treats until Christmas Eve, which is when we go Christmas Caroling with Chad's parents (no pictures of this event sorry). So, I was running against the clock with this project. Chad did help me out so I cannot take all of the credit. After the plates were finished we hopped in the car and delivered plates to some inactive members in our ward at church, our church leaders and also our wonderful Stake Leaders I work with. We were supposed to be at Chad's parents house at 1pm put did not get there til 3pm. We had a lot of fun visiting with everyone on Christmas Day.
