Just Sitting here

I am just sitting here thinking about all the wonderful friends and family I have around me. I am thinking how quite my house is right now with Sada asleep and Chad and Kipling went to Cherre's (Chad's sisters) house to get another wheel barrow. Chad ordered a truck load of Crush and Run(crushed rocks) to put under the house. Right now that is sitting in a pile on the edge of our yard and the road, so we have to get it moved. Chad is digging under the house to make the crawl space a little bigger and then he will haul the rocks under the house. While Chad was cleaning under the house he found that our Toilets had been leaking (What a STINKY MESS). So, he had to clean that up as well. He is going to put shelves up so we can start our food storage and also I will finally be able to have my Chest Freezer that has been sitting underneath the house for about two years. Very excited.
Sada is Four months now and is a very good baby. We took her to the doctors last week when she had her virus and they told us she is growing very well. She is weighing in at 14lbs. I will get all the percentages when we go back next month since they do not give percentages on a sick visit.
Kipling weighed 32lbs. when we took Sada to the doctor.
I will have to take some pictures of Kipling and Chad working underneath the house. It is so cute to watch the two of them work together.

Look at us MOM

Look at my two cute ANGELS. I am so blessed to have two cute children. I had put Sada in the Laundry basket so I could help Kipling out with something and instead of helping him he wanted to sit in the Laundry basket with Sada. I thought it was a good Photo OP. Kipling forgot what I was supposed to help him with as well as MOM who forgets everything now days.

A warm day in December:)

Kipling picking the last Tomato off of our dead Tomato plants. He loved to pick the green Tomato's off of the plants even when they were producing and through them into the woods. He would see me do this to the rotten ones and so he thought he was helping me out. He is a really good helper.
Kipling is excited to be out side. It rained the previous day and he had to be inside most of the day. This is why he is wearing is rain boots. However, he does wear is rain boots for fun sometimes he reminds me of the boy on BIG DADDY!!
Look at me sliding down the WATER SLIDE!!! HE loved it!!
Kipling wants to be just like SADA sitting in her seat. I think I fit MOMMY!

Look at my pretty girl. She loves her seat...she also enjoyed being out side in the fresh December air.

I had put up the Christmas tree Dec. 6th two days after I got some really bad news from a doctors appointment. Thinking hopefully the Christmas Tree would bring me some cheer. Two days later (Monday) I was putting on the ornaments and Kipling wanted to help me. I thought what a good idea, his first year he could help me out this would be fun and we could spend some good time together putting on the GLASS BALL ORNAMENTS!!!! That was not a good idea. Between Kip and I we broke pretty much every other ornament so I gave up after about 10 for some sanity time and to wait until Chad came home.
Just so I do not leave everyone hanging about the bad news from the doctor. My condition I had removed three years ago has returned has come back with a vengeance. I have a tumor in the back of my ankle and the rest is floating around in my ankle slowly eating away at my joint.
Gotta run Kipling is being TWO!!

Kip's friend who moved to Mobile, AL came back to visit and they had quite the reunion. Kipling really misses AJ. We went and saw Michelle, AJ, and Little Ben at there house here in NC and we heard that this would be the last nice day in a while. SO, we suited them up and off we went to the park up the street from
Michelle's house. Kip and AJ
had so much fun playing together.
We were so blessed Michelle, AJ and Little Ben could come back
for a visit.

Our Cute Little Family

Last Wednesday I was complaining to Chad that we needed to get a family picture taken. He told me to schedule a day and he would make it happen. Well I choose Thursday(the next day) even though Sada had a temperature of over 100 and had a virus and we were all slowing starting to get the virus. The pictures turned out pretty good despite being sick. Hopefully the photographer at JC Penny did not get sick!!

Kipling's 2nd Birthday

Kipling got his first haircut on his 2nd Birthday. His mother cut his hair. She has gotten a lot of compliments on his haircut. I think I did a pretty good job since this was my first child's haircut.
Happy Birthday Kipling 12/2/08
